What is stopping YOU?

You are what is going to make the difference
You are the only person who can do it
You are the person that will make You a success

When I was 28 I was 322 lbs in weight and heading very rapidly in a downward spiral of drink, drugs and wanting to step off the planet. 18 months later I had l dropped to 182 lbs and finished the London Marathon in 3hrs 45 minutes feeling fantastic (if a little tired). So how did I get from being this overweight sack of nothing to the lean mean fighting machine?
It was the day I went to the Doctors to be told that I was depressed and handed a little packet of happy pills and told to go home and take one.

Get angry
To be told that my savoir was in the form of some ‘crappy’ little pills I was very angry.
The anger was what I needed to make the decision to do something about it.
The anger was the realisation that nobody else was going to help me and that I had to take control and sort myself out. It was that instance that changed me and that’s all any decision takes. It’s that instance, that split second, that heartbeat that takes you from trucking along to ‘snap’ I don’t want this life anymore. The trick is to get to that point of decision.

Blame no one
I hear so many people these days blaming the system, the doctors, the teachers, the boss, the wife, husband or the parents. We have to take responsibility for our own lives because no one else will. No one else is going to hand us success and take us to the top of the mountain.

Let me indulge a little if you will
I write this post because the past year for me has been one of the hardest. My ex wife presented me with moving up to Scotland with my two youngest. We fought in court and sadly I lost but it taught me a big lesson and that was to never give up and keep on striving for what you want and in this case that I have to do what is needed to make sure I’m always there for my children.
It wiped me out emotionally and I had to get myself back on my feet again. Dealing with this kind of issue can really knock you for six but as I started off this post, I only have me to do it.
I see my life as an adventure and if you’ve ever climbed any mountain you’ll know it’s not a light stroll. I expect to have challenges thrown at me. I expect to stumble down every now and again and fail because it’s all part of the adventure I call life.

Those little gremlins
We all have our demons, our little voices in our heads that tells us we can’t do it, or that we will fail. When I stepped into that courtroom I had the biggest demon talking to me inside my head and the judge ruled in its favor.
We must keep believing and pushing forward. My coach has taught me to see these negative thoughts as waves on the ocean. The ocean remains unchanged as the waves scatter across the surface and this is how we must deal with our negative thoughts. Accept that we have them and then don’t give them any power by indulging them with more thought.

I believe in you
Belief is such a powerful thing to have. As I believed that I could lose all that weight and run the London Marathon, so can you believe in yourself that you too can achieve what you want.
Yes it’s hard, but who said success was going to be a walk in the park, unless you want to be a park keeper that is.
Faith, belief, balls and action is what it takes. Faith that you will get what you want, belief in yourself, balls to just do it and then none of this will do anything unless you take action.

So I believe in you. I believe that you can get what you want. I believe that you are an amazing person that has everything you need to get to where you want to be. I believe that you have all the love you need and the energy to take you forward. I believe in you.
Now all you have to do is believe in you too.

To your onward success my friend

Is Social Media ego based?

How many followers do you have on Twitter?

How many friends do you have on Facebook?

How many connections do you have on LinkedIn and Google+?

For some, the amount of followers and connections is important, for others it is about the level of genuine connections and not just the numbers.

For me I believe in both.

As I have said in many posts and episodes of my TV channel; Social Media is about being social, BUT it can also be about being seen as someone who is important in your field. So having a lot of numbers of followers and connections is important.

B.S you may say and I’ve heard a few say this BUT my friends let me ask you this.

When you check someone out on Twitter, do you not believe they have more weight to their presence by the amount of followers they have?

Beyond numbers
I know this sounds empty but come on lets be honest here. A person who has more followers and connections does come across as more credible from the outset yes?

The main thing is that that person then needs to live up to their ‘credible’ status and provide good value and content.

So is Social Media ego based? To be honest yes is my answer to this. Its not all ego based admittedly but when we have a lot of people following us does it not make us feel that little bit more important. When we are asked how many followers we have and we can reply with a large figure does this not make us feel important (just a little)

Honesty
Hands up it makes me feel more credible, but I do make sure I fulfil me credibility status by providing good quality content and making real connections with people.

If we take Triberr for instance which is the new kid on the Social Media block there are lots of different groups of people on this site and some will only let you join their tribe if you have a certain number of followers. Is this wrong? perhaps not because the leaders want to get maximum coverage.

Comparison and connection
Now I have over 33k followers on Twitter at present, but does that mean I have more real connections than someone who only has 5k or less? I think not. It’s all about how you connect and how much you share within your followers.

So when does having a large amount of followers matter?
A good friend of mine got a book deal last year because when the publisher checked her Social Media numbers, they could see in an instance that they were credible and so the deal was signed. She obviously had to write a good book, but the numbers were important.

Klout score
Numbers do matter for things like this, but now we can really see how credible someone is and how much they are connecting with the advent of Klout which measures how much we are engaging with people across the Social Media platforms.

So do you think Social Media is ego based?

I posted this question on Twitter and here are just some of the replies

Some feedback from Facebook too

The feedback was mostly about engaging and I don’t think anyone really put their hand up (apart from Don) and was honest and said ‘yes I love having lots of followers because it makes me feel important’ maybe that’s too honest.

So I believe that having a lot of followers is good for initial credibility and our ego but is doesn’t count if you aren’t engaging with your followers / connections.

Engagement is key.

What do you believe?
Does having a lot of followers matter to you – go on be honest
What do you think about engagement?

Is your home page dead?

Why your home page is not as important as you think it is and why you need to implement certain things across your site to make it work for you.

You may not be aware of this but when people come to your website they don’t always land on your home page.

If you have a blog, 9 times out of 10 they will land there. Why? Because this is where the content is and this is what Google and the other search engines are picking up.

So why does this matter?
If on your home page you are telling people what you do and have a great introduction then your visitors will be missing out on seeing this and you’ll be missing out on potential work or contacts.
Plus if you’re asking people to download your free e-book / audio on your home page and this is only available on the home page then you’re missing out on building your list if they land on another page.

What can you do to change this?
Make sure that on every page – yes every page – ok except the contact us page, but every page should have your free download promotion on it.
On my blog I have it twice as you will see – on the top right offering the e-book for the number 1 secret to growing your business and also a great little pop up plug-in by Pippity that is also a great way to ask for people’s names and emails in return for your great hints and tips.

When I look at my website stats the amount of people that land on my home page are very few and that’s because I have so much new content being added to all the other pages and because I integrate my blogging, TV shows and radio shows with Social Media and sites like Triberr, this is why my home page isn’t getting much of a look-in these days.

Self assessment
Take a good look at your site and make sure that it’s easy for your visitors to know what you do no matter what page they land on. Make sure that it is also easy for them to find out more about you, buy your product or services and if you are giving away a free download then again make sure this is easy to see on all pages. The top right hand side is the best place.

Another hint I would give about having a free download is give a brief overview of what they will get in return for their name and email. Simply having ‘Sign up for my newsletter’ doesn’t really cut it these days because we are awash with newsletters, and the mere mention of them makes us want to click delete.

Get someone else to look at your site
Another good tip is to have someone look at your website who doesn’t really know what you do and ask them to give you their comments and thoughts on what it is you do.

Because we see our own website every day then we sometimes don’t see what is missing so having someone else take a look is worth doing.

If you need more help in driving traffic to your website then I’m giving away a free e-book titled the 5 Ways to Generate Sales To Your Website which you can get a complimentary copy here

Plus if you need more help – ask me about our affordable website evaluation service, where we will provide a step-by-step report on what you can do to increase traffic and visitor retention on your website. If you are untechy like me – then we can provide our tech support team who can implement the changes for you.

How to turn a mistake into a positive

When it pays to admit you’re wrong in business and here’s my story.

I recently made a mistake on a free e-book I was offering. Within this e-book I had mentioned one of my courses for sale and had forgotten to change the price and had left it at the old price. A prospective buyer emailed me and copy and pasted the text showing the price and asked if they could buy at this price.
I quickly sent an email back telling them that because it was my mistake and that they could of course buy at this price. I then quickly shot out an email to everyone else that had signed up for the free e-book saying that I had made a mistake and they could purchase the course for the lower price for the next 24hrs.
From that one apologetic email we had 12 sales – albeit at the reduced price, but these are sales we wouldn’t have got had we not said sorry and held our hands up and apologised.

Building loyalty
We then received an email from the lady who spotted the mistake and this is what she said.

So it pays to admit a mistake and this not only leads to building loyalty for your business but it also does something else that can never be bought and that is word of mouth marketing.
Jane has said that she will tell other people and you really can’t put a price on that.
So there are two morals to this post.
1. Check your prices on everything and
2. If you’ve messed up put up your hands and admit it.
Come clean and they will love you all the more.

Funny story.
An old work colleague of mine was once working on the design of a book of some 200 odd pages. He had to make a small alteration on the computer to one of the pages.
What he didn’t realise was that he had inadvertently deleted all the pages after it.
The book then went to the printers. The book had 5 pages of text and 195 odd blank pages. Just to let you know that this was also an urgent job.
When my colleague got back into work the following day he was duly invited into the boss’ office. He presumed that he was in for the chop but the boss told him that it was obviously a mistake and when my friend asked if he was going to be sacked the boss explained that he had already spent a lot of money on him and that he knows he wouldn’t make the same mistake again so it was worth keeping him in the company.
So another mistake that turned out to be a good one, but I’d rather not have that kind of stress.

Sometimes we want to run and hide but in our business’ we can’t so it’s better to stand up and face the music. As my mother used to say ‘honesty is the best policy’ and I for one agree with her whole heartedly.

3 steps to making your website work 24 7

I recently talked about blogging on a recent post so on this post I want to talk about how I make my website work for me 24/7 using a mixture of my blog, Social Media and 2 plug-in.
First off for this to work for you, you need to be blogging on a regular basis. At least once a week I’d say so you keep the content fresh and alive.

Step 1. Your blog needs to be WordPress and then you need to download and install the free plug-in called Tweet Old Post. This great little plug-in will randomly select one of your posts and post it out to your Twitter stream.
The other great thing about this plug-in is that your old blog posts keep getting promoted.
Some of my most popular posts are over a year old and they get tonnes of comments so without this plug-in I’m pretty sure that they wouldn’t get read and simply left to gather dust in the archives.
I have my Tweet Old Post plug-in set at sending out to my Twitter stream every other hour. You can set it to whatever times you wish, but I would recommend not too often so your Twitter stream is just automated tweets and no real input from you.

Step 2. The next thing I use is another great little plug-in called Pippity. Now this is a paid plug-in but well worth it. This is a data capture plug-in that can be setup to pop up on your blog when the person has finished reading the post. This only really works if you are giving away a free download such as an e-book or audio.

I love Pippity because unlike a lot of the other pop-ups it’s a lot subtler. Some of the pop-ups out there are too in your face and appear as soon as you land on the website.

I have my Pippity plug-in set to appear when a visitor has finished reading a blog post. It’s a small box and offers my free e-book. (see pic below)

By having these elements on your website this means that you can be building your list of prospective customers / clients 24/7.
You write a blog post, Tweet Old Post sends it out to your Twitter Stream. One of your followers visits your site to read the blog post. They then see the pop-up promoting your free download and they decide to leave their name and email in return for the info and bingo you have a prospective client.

Step 3. The next level
Once you have this all setup you could then join the new kid on the block, which is Triberr.
This is a new site for bloggers and Tweeters.
Here’s how it works
Triberr is a community of bloggers who have created their own group of fellow bloggers called Tribes. Within these Tribes they share each others blog content to their own personal Twitter streams.

If you decide to join Triberr you need to find a Tribe that is relevant to your market. For example if you are a coach and are interested in motivational and inspirational issues you need to look for a Tribe that has other members who write about such subjects.

How it works
When you join Triberr you give the RSS feed URL for your blog, which means that Triberr automatically picks up any new blog post you’ve written.
Your fellow Tribe mates can then share your blog posts with their Twitter stream and you can share theirs with yours. Some Tribes have a spread of over 2 million+ people and this means a lot of traffic coming to your site and with the Pippity plug-in in place you can massively build your online list of prospective clients – cool huh!

The main thing about all of this is to make sure you are writing good content on your blog that is of interest to your chosen market. As I said on the last post if you’re a coach write about coaching ‘stuff’ that could help your chosen market.

Adding value is what it’s all about, and I hope I’ve added some for you today.

If you’ve found this blog helpful please spread the word and tweet it, Google plus it and even Facebook Like it.

I’d also love to hear your thoughts and comments on how you generate traffic to your site or what problems you may have blogging.

To your onward success

Simon

Are you still fired up in your business?

Do you still have that childlike excitement for your business?

Do you still rush to get into the office to start your day?
When someone asks you what you do, do you get all fired up with passion and enthusiasm?

When we’ve been working in our business for a few years we can sometimes lose that spark and losing that spark can have an effect on your sales.
Passion breads passion. If I’m talking to someone and they are passionate about what they do it fires me up too. Heck I’d buy a broken pen from someone who was passionate about it.
Passion and enthusiasm for me are crucial to business growth. In my many years of networking I’ve seen and met a lot of people who are struggling to survive and when you ask them what they do this comes across. For example when I ask them “how are you doing?” they normally reply with “Well you know, baring up” or “Yep ok” and have that look of stress on their face.
Now I’m not saying that we all need to be like Tigger and bounce around with a silly grin on our face. But I am saying that we need to come across as fired up, because if you’re not fired up about your business and I want to give you work then does that translate into you not being fired to do a great job for me?

How to keep the fire lit.

  1. Ask yourself why you started the business – we forget sometimes why we are doing what we’re doing and this can lead to us just ticking along in a mediocre way. You can read my post on finding your why.
  2. Find a coach - working with a coach can really help you raise the bar and push you to the next level. A good coach should be able to see what the issues are and be able to guide you forward.
  3. Set some goals of what you want to achieve this day, this week, month and year. Having something to aim at really helps. When we don’t have a target to hit we tend to just bumble along without any real energy.
  4. Listen to some inspirational people – If I’m feeling a little lack luster and not as fired up as I like, then listening to people like the great late Jim Rohn or Anthony Robbins gets me going again.
  5. Watch this video I recorded whilst on a mini break with my two youngest, it’s all about being fired up with that child like enthusiasm.

It can be really hard when we are working on our own and it can also be lonely so knowing how to keep fired up is a must if we want to see growth in our business.
I’d also add to the list that we need to hang out with like-minded people.
Think about joining networking groups that work for you, but remember only hang out with people who are also wanting to grow and keep fired up. If they aren’t fired up and are happy to just settle then they may bring you down with them. We are known for the company we keep and sometimes we can end up surrounding ourselves with naysayers and the negative types. So find the people who will push you up and inspire you not knock you down.

How do you keep fired up?
Is there something that always helps to get you motivated?
I’d love to hear your comments and thoughts on this subject so please leave your comments below.

12 tips to a better blog

Last year I had pretty much given up on blogging (gasp!) and I was dedicating my time to producing episodes of my online TV channel www.simonjordan.tv and interviewing guests for my online radio show www.simonjordanradioshow.com.

I thought that TV and audio was the way to go. My TV site was working well with new clients coming in and I was getting booked to speak across the globe so I was happy.
Then I met someone who said that they loved my TV channel, but preferred reading my blogs instead. When I asked why, they told me that they just preferred to read and watching one of my episodes in an office full of people wasn’t always possible. And here was me thinking that TV was the way forward. I was wrong, well sort of.

So with this in mind here’s point 1
1. People like different things
People like to absorb their information in different ways. Some just like YouTube and online TV channels whilst others prefer audio, but others prefer to read and I quickly realized that I was missing out on this section of the market. So if you’re thinking of giving up on blogging think again.
Since I’ve started writing 2 blog posts a week I have seen the traffic to my site rapidly increase to over 1,000 new visitors per day and also the sign ups to my list have also massively increased. So in a nutshell, blogging works so don’t stop or if you don’t have one then maybe now is a good time to start.

2. Blogging adds value
Blogging is an excellent way for you to share your knowledge and add value to your readers.
The late great Jim Rohn once said that you are paid for the value you bring to the marketplace not your time.Blogging demonstrates to the world that you know your subject and it also helps build credibility.

3. Blogging is a soft sell
Writing a blog not only demonstrates your knowledge but it also gets people to your website and have them stay awhile. A blog can be a discussion point; it can also lead them to signing up for your free download (if you have one).
It builds connections and these connections can lead to sales.

4. What I recommend to use
I recommend using WordPress for your blog – you can download free themes and also paid themes but make sure you purchase the themes from a reputable source such as www.WooThemes.com
Wordpress is also open to anyone who can program code (known as open source) and this means that there are a lot of people across the globe creating some excellent plug-ins for us to use. Most are free and they make our life so much easier.

5. Have your blog on your site
I also recommend that you have the blog as part of your site. This means that when someone is reading your blog it’s then very easy for him or her to go off and look at the rest of your site.
Some people disagree with me but if you don’t have an integrated blog it’s like having the rooms of your house spread out down the road. So your kitchen could be a few houses down, your bathroom in the next street and your bedroom in the next village. What would it be like having guests to your house? Very complicated to say the least.

6. Difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org
If you plumb for a WordPress.com website this means that you set your blog up on the WordPress.com website and they own your site. This also means that your site is promoting WordPress and not you.
If you have a blog on WordPress.com then do a search using www.websitegrader.com for what the keywords are being used on your blog and you’ll see that’s it’s mostly WordPress, so great for them, bad for you.
Where as a WordPress.org site is where you go to download the latest WordPress template in order to use this on your own website.

7. Keep it fresh
Another point to say about having a blog integrated on your site is that it is excellent for search engines. If you are adding fresh content to your blog on a regular basis this will add to your ranking on the search engines. It also helps if your blog has relevant content to your industry. So if you were a coach I wouldn’t recommend writing a blog post on kitchen utensils unless you want to sell kitchen utensils. Write a blog post on how you coach people or give your readers some advice they can use to improve their business or life.
Remember you are paid for the value you bring to the marketplace.

8. How many times to blog?
The more the merrier I say. As I said at the start I write two posts a week, but I also create 1 TV episode and also 1 Radio Show so that’s a lot of new content going on my site every week. I would recommend at least a few times a month as a minimum. If someone visits your site and they see that the last blog post you wrote was 3 months ago it may look like your not active anymore or that you’re too busy and this could put some people off.

9. What to write about?
When my clients ask me this I always reply with – ‘step into your client’s shoes and ask yourself what would I like to learn today which could help my business or me?’I’m writing this post about blogging because I know that a lot of the people who read my blogs are thinking about starting one themselves or maybe rekindling an old one and that the info I’m sharing here can help them.

10. How many words?
I try and stick to around 500-800 words but I know in this one I’ll be touching on 1,000 but as long as the content is good then I wouldn’t worry to much just as long as you get the information across.

11. Add an image
Adding an image to the top of the post makes it more eye catching. We love pics and they can draw us in.Use a website like www.istockphoto.com for royalty free pics but don’t just help yourself to Google images as these are copyrighted and can land you in a lot of trouble.

12. Create engagement
Ask for comments at the end of your blog. This creates engagement with your readers

I’d love your feedback -
What have you found great about blogging or what have you struggled with when writing your blog?
I love hearing your thoughts and comments so please leave them below.

To your onward success

How to attract the right clients?

We all have a variety of clients.

Some we love working with and others who are simply ‘ok’ and others we end up with who can be a complete pain in the rear.

They argue over money, they cause you stress, they don’t help you help them.

You know the ones.
I know when I started my business I was working with a few clients just like that.
They would call me at all hours expecting me to jump to it.
It was not a great time and the impact reflected on my family life too.

Why does this happen?

Do you know the phrase – we are known by the company we keep?
Well I’d like to update that phrase for this blog post and say that our company is known for how we keep it. What I mean by that is, how we as a company look, sound, feel (yes feel) and interact all reflects on whom we attract.

For example if we come across as a bit slapdash and not as professional then we will attract clients who may also be slapdash and not that professional.

How we feel! – I thought I’d just clear this up. A purchase is all about emotion.
We buy on emotions. We buy from people we know, like and trust so it’s important that our prospective customers ‘feel’ right and our role is to ensure they do.

Does your marketing reflect what you are offering? (this is a blog post in it’s own)
If you are offering an upmarket product but your marketing is looking downmarket then you could be attracting customers who will always try and haggle with the cost because they believe that they can do it because you are giving off an image of a used car sales company.

Do you behave differently when you visit MacDonald’s compared to when you visit an upmarket restaurant?

You expect to be treated differently don’t you? So how you look and come across in your marketing and communications will determine the kind of clients you will attract.

Remember like attracts like.

Further help is here

To help you further I’m giving away a great little E-book called The Good, The Bad and The Ugly – A guide to attracting more of the clients you love.

Value £7.97 / $12.52 but for you it’s FREE

>>Get your complimentary copy here

You’ll love this little guide. It’s simple to follow and you don’t have to wade through tonnes of pages. I’ve kept it really simple.

Your feedback

Have you had experience of working with unsavoury clients?

I’d love to know your thoughts and comments and what you have done to help attract more of the clients you love.

Are you selling the drill or the hole?

In your business are you selling the drill or the hole?

I’ve written a post similar to this before but it’s so important I wanted to add another one to give more help.

Why do we buy a drill? Is it so that we can have an electrical tool sitting on a shelf? Or do we buy it so that we can put a hole in the wall in order to put up a shelf or something else?

We buy the drill because what it can do, not because of what it is.

This is the difference between features and benefits.

Features are what it is and how it works.
Benefits are what we have after using the product or service.

The common mistake that small business owners make is that they tell their prospective customers how they work, how long they’ve been doing it and what kind of training they’ve had, instead of how they can help their customer.

Benefits are king
If I take my business for example, people may not need a Business Growth Coach as such, but they do need someone who can help them generate more clients for their business. A Business Growth Coach can do exactly that, but not everyone understands what a Business Growth Coach is so if I were to produce adverts with this title all over it, it wouldn’t be very effective.
So it’s better to tell them what the benefits are first before going into the detail about how it all works.

I work a lot with coaches, practitioners and consultants and I love working with them to create their elevator pitches. It’s such a vital part of their marketing so it’s really important that we get it right from the outset otherwise their prospective target market can be left not knowing what it is they do and a confused buyer is a non buyer.
When I do this work I always start off with asking them to tell me a typical example of them helping out a client.
One of my clients told me that he was a Performance Coach. Now at the time I had no idea what it was that he did. The clue wasn’t really in the title. So I asked him to tell me about some of his recent work he’d done.
He proceeded to tell me of a singer who needed to have more confidence on stage and how he taught her to be in the right mindset when performing so she could give a great performance every time.
By telling me this I then understood exactly what it is he did, whereas just knowing his title left me in the dark.

4 things to ask yourself which will help

  1. Once a client has worked with you what can they now do that they couldn’t do before?
  2. What difference do you make to them or their business?
  3. How do they feel after working with you?
  4. What pain or issue do you solve for them?

I recorded an episode of my TV channel on this subject which you may find helpful

Tell me about you?
Do you have an unusual way of telling people about your business?
Have you found something that really grabs your audience’s attention when telling them about your business?

I’d love to know so please leave your comments below.

James Bond is broke

Thought that headline might grab your attention and attention grabbing is what I’m talking about today.

As a 007 agent James Bond’s role is to keep a low profile and not tell everyone who he is and what he does. Otherwise he wouldn’t be a very good secret agent would he?

I doubt he uses Social Media to connect with his prospective baddies.

He wouldn’t film his exploits of running across rooftops, smashing through buildings, sky diving out of planes without a parachute and placing them on YouTube in order to show the world how great he is at taking down the bad guys.

I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have a Facebook page for his spy friends to ‘Like’ and help build his credibility and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have a personal page either so he can share his pictures and thoughts and connect with other like minded spies or baddies.

What about LinkedIn? Do you think he’s linking with other spies on this platform in order to help each other and find the baddies that need taking down?

I also doubt that he’s formed a group on this site titled How To Stop Your Enemies From Taking Over The World where he shares his knowledge of driving fast cars, dating women and shooting lots of guns.

I also very much doubt he’s using Twitter to share with the world his tips on Vodka Martini shaking or chatting with people about why he thinks that there has to be a good looking woman on every mission. Or perhaps using Twitter to connect with people who can help him find the baddies.

Then if that’s the case I very much doubt he uses the new Social Media Kid on the block which is Pinterest where he shares pictures of his favorite swimming trunks and videos of him driving his Aston Martin at high speeds or ‘Repining’ and commenting on his fellow MI6 officer’s pictures.

So maybe he doesn’t have a website where he can show the world what he does and where he also offers a free helpful download in order to capture his prospective target market’s details and build up the know, like and trust elements of making the sale or is that the kill.

I doubt he even writes a blog post in order to build connection with his audience, demonstrate his skills and knowledge as a secret agent and to also add to his Google ranking.

Because he doesn’t do any of the above I then have to believe that poor old James Bond as a business is probably broke because he wants to remain secret and hidden away. Well I suppose that ok for him and that’s what he wants, he is a secret agent after all.

So why then do small business owners adopt the same attitude?
Are you a secret agent? Can your prospective clients easily find you, connect and engage with you?
Are you using Social Media to build relationships and drive traffic to your site?
Are you adding fresh content to your website and demonstrating your skills and knowledge?
